We would like to get to know some of our favourite creatives and personalities behind the brands we love, including founders, bartenders and hospo heroes.
To start off this series, we sat down with our CEO, Sophie, and asked her about her favourite places in London to eat, drink and spend time in, including the best margarita in London (we agree), her most-loved Sunday roast in Shoreditch, and cool, hidden bars in Stoke Newington.
At DUSK, we’re proud to be a female-founded brand, with a majority female team. Celebrating International Women’s Day, we are shining light on our favourite CEO, Sophie Abrahamovitch. Our very own #girlboss (she’ll be mortified), shares her fave local spots to have a gander around London 👑
What's your drink of choice? I'd have to say the Mirror Marg at Hacha
Where do you spend most of your time? Most of the time, I hang out in Shoreditch and Hackney. I'm an East End girl.
What's your favourite dish? Oh the Halloumi from Bubala for sure.
Your favourite eateries? Bubala, Supa Ya Ramen, Mangal 1, Big Jo and Brat.
Where can we usually find you on a night out? My go to spots are definitely Dońa in Stoke Newington, Home Bar in Shoreditch, London Grind, Shoreditch House or just on the sofa at home... with a homemade spicy marg.
Describe your ideal Sunday in the city It would definitely start with a morning gym session at Momentum, in London Fields. Then maybe walk along the canal and have breakfast at Towpath, it's so good. I'd be very keen on hunting down a Picanté or some other spicy marg, and then finish it off with a big roast at The Princess of Shoreditch or maybe Blacklock in Soho.
